Do You Have Time To Play?

Everyone needs time to play, especially us hoopers. Extra playtime a week gives you YOU TIME, helps you to get stronger, stay healthy and happy. Where do you find that extra time? Let's see I am a mom of two pretty active boys with their own weekly scheduled activities, I have a full time job, I have a fun time job aka hoop coach, and yes a house that needs to be cleaned at least sometimes ha! Organizing and prioritizing is great and it works but not all the time, we are all humans and life gets in a way, and we have a million things to do, and they are all important and need to be done right away, plus there is one big thing that can stop you from playing and it is I don't feel like it feeling. What great about hooping is even when you don't feel like it and you get in there and hoop it, you get into it faster than you spin. Here is what helped me to keep my playtime more or less consistent.
  • I made space. I cleaned the area, even moved couple of furniture pieces around, and made it my hooping spot. Make sure there are no breakable items about, hoops like to fly! No space inside, go outside! You get fresh air in you and you don't have to worry about hitting walls, fans, TV screen, I could go on. Also have a hoop out in your sight where it call you. 
  • Have easy access to your favorite tunes. I use Spotify App on my phone, and I love it. 
  • Even a few minutes of hooping will pay off with happier you. Hoop when you can! Do not look for excuses not to. Hooping won't take your energy, hooping gives energy! 
Simple as 1, 2, 3 ))) that's all you need: space, music, and you wanting it. And don't forget to stay hydrated. Hooping is a full body workout. Even if it does not feel like exercise, because it is a lot of fun, your body works hard and needs plenty of water to keep going! Keep hooping! ​
