My teaching philosophy is to create a welcoming, well planned, safe and nurturing environment for the students.

Don't squish or squeeze your hoop! Don't leave it in hot places, like sitting in your car in a heat! Don't leave your hoop on a lawn for too long! Don't play with a taped hoop in the pool! I would add don't expose your hoop to extreme cold, one thing not to worry about in Louisiana!
Best place to store your hoop is lying flat in a cool place. Should your hoop loose shape, leave it in a heat for a little bit and try to reshape it with your hands. Hula hooping on concrete, gravel, and asphalt can scratch your hoop and damage the tape, but it can always be retaped!
